4 to 7 year olds meet on Thursday evenings. 5.30 - 7.00 pm.
Games are a very important part of our programme. We include all sorts of ball games and team games. We play with bats and plastic hockey sticks, hoops, bean bags, quoits, etc. We have pedal cars, scooters, basketball nets and football goals. We play parachute games, connect four and Lego. Sometimes we play quieter board games.
During the evening we usually have an arts and crafts session when we make models, cards, games, presents and other simple things. This is carried out in small groups where the leaders can supervise the activities and communicate with the boys and girls easily. Sometimes instead of arts and crafts we do music and drama or have a quiz.
When the weather is fine we like to get outside as much as possible either on our own playground and grass areas or to a nearby park. We hire in electric go karts and inflatables such as a giant slide, obstacle course, bouncy castle or last man standing.
